Manchester City Coaching Staff: A History of Success

By Simon Austin | March 31, 2018

Manchester City has a long and successful history, and their coaching staff has played a major role in that success. From the early days of the club to the present day, City have been led by some of the most respected managers in the world.

In recent years, City have enjoyed unprecedented success under the leadership of Pep Guardiola. The Spaniard has won 17 trophies in his seven years in charge, including four Premier League titles and one Champions League.

Guardiola is not the only successful manager in City's history. In the early days of the club, Matt Busby led City to two league titles and an FA Cup. In the 1970s, Joe Mercer and Malcolm Allison led City to another league title and an FA Cup.

In the 1990s, Alan Ball and Joe Royle led City to two FA Cups. And in the early 2000s, Roberto Mancini led City to their first Premier League title in 44 years.

City's coaching staff has played a major role in the club's success. They have helped to develop some of the best players in the world, and they have created a winning culture at the club.

As City continue to challenge for trophies, their coaching staff will play a key role in their success.
