Arrests Made After Protestors Delay Grand National
The start of the Grand National 2023 was delayed by 14 minutes after animal rights activists got onto the track. Four people were arrested and charged with aggravated trespass.
The activists were protesting against the use of horses in racing. They argued that the sport is cruel and that horses are often injured or killed.
